NAACP Western Wayne County Branch announce their 2013 Awardees for Freedom Fund Luncheon.

DEARBORN, MI – The NAACP Western Wayne County Branch will host their 2012 NAACP Freedom Fund Luncheon on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. (Seating will begin at 11:00 a.m.) at University of Michigan – Dearborn Fairlane Center located at 19000 Hubbard Dr. Dearborn, MI  48126.

NAACP Western Wayne Branch is pleased to announce their Awardees for their 2013 Freedom Fund Luncheon.  The Lifetime Achievement Awardees are Congressman John Conyers – 13th District and Ms. Jeralean Talley – 2nd oldest person in the world; The Great Expectation Awardees are Joyce Parker Emergency Manager for Allen Park and Marge Robinson – President, SEIU Healthcare Michigan;   and the Against All Odds Awardee is Joi Hearn – College Student

Our theme for this year is: “one voice – one focus – one community

Dr. Woodrow Whitlow, Jr., the Associate Administrator for Mission Support at NASA is the Keynote Speaker and the Master of Ceremony for the afternoon is Caleb Foster- 1440 AM WDRJ Station Manager.

Ticket prices for this spectacular event are $50 for Adult Ticket and $30.00 for a Youth Ticket.
