Popsicle boy Simon Cowell

I just read an article in People Magazine that former American Idol Judge Simon Cowell announced, when he dies he would like to be frozen.

“It’s an insurance policy,” Cowell told GQ Magazine in the September issue.
“If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. If it does work, I’ll be happy. If it’s possible, and I think it will be, why not have a second crack? Does that sound crazy? I think it’s a good idea.”Cowell’s new Fox show, The X Factor‘s , premieres Sept. 21 at 8 p.m.
To me that is not surprising. After all, Cowell is famous for his sword-to-the-gut zingers, as a judge on Idol and also on Britain’s Got Talent.  I often wonder why people dwell on what they want done to them, after their ticker has stopped ticking.  Most of us go for burial or cremation, and others don’t say what to do.  Many times ones religious persuasion decides where you will end up, once time has run out.
Okay, this is getting a bit out of hand. Enough is enough, right? Do we really care that Cowell is dreaming of the day he will be a popsicle?  Or the day some 200 years from now that he will be brought back to life only to be totally out of touch with whatever music happens to be popular then and who knows pitchy singing could be the “in” thing.  Just saying!!!!!
