Jimmy Fallon’s ascension to The Tonight Showhost’s desk moved another step closer today with the posting of NBC’s first Tonight promo with Fallon on YouTube.

Fallon, now the host of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, will take over the iconic talk show on Feb. 17. With Fallon’s arrival, Tonight, which runs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT, will move from Los Angeles back to New York, its original home.

Most of the minute-plus promotional video, titled The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – A Tradition Continues, focuses on clips of Fallon and current host Jay Leno, who has headlined the show for 22 years.

Johnny Carson, the longest-running Tonight host and the man most associated with the celebrated franchise, is featured, too, along with shorter acknowledgments of Steve Allen and Jack Paar, both pre-Carson hosts, and Conan O’Brien, who replaced and was replaced by Leno.
