U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan will join National Education Association President Dennis Van Roekel, Alexandria City Public Schools Superintendent Morton Sherman and T.C. Williams High School Principal Suzanne Maxey to celebrate teachers and visit with students at 8:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14.

The school visit and discussions will help to kick off the NEA’s American Education Week, which will highlight the work teachers across the nation are doing in the classroom every day and raise public awareness of the importance of education.
